The main attraction at the park is none other than the majestic Mount Kinabalu, one of the highest peaks in Southeast Asia standing at 4095 metres. Getting Here

Kinabalu Park is located 88 kilometres by road from Kota Kinabalu city and the journey time is approximately 2 hours. Shuttle services and airport transfers are available upon request and prior reservations must be made at the time of booking. These services are chargeable and cater to group and individual bookings.

LIWAGU RESTAURANT

Open daily from 8.00am to 10.00pm.

  • Liwagu Restaurant offer guests a relaxing ambience of indoor and outdoor dining area with nature surroundings.
  • Menu options of à la carte orders with choices of either international or local cuisine.
  • Steamboat option is also available with prior notice.
BALSAM CAFÉ

  • Open daily for Breakfast from 6.30am to 10.30am, Lunch from 12.00pm to 4.30pm and Dinner from 6.00pm to 9.00pm
  • Located near the entrance of Kinabalu Park, Balsam Cafe offers a scrumptious buffet spread, catering mostly to mountain climbers and in-house guests. Choice of food ranges from Asian to international delights.

Experiences

Explore deep into nature while you are here. If you’re not up to climbing Mount Kinabalu, you can always opt for jungle trekking. Consider the longest trail the Liwagu Trail (5,620m) or take a brisk walk along Bukit Tupai Trail (345m). Don’t forget to explore the Botanical Garden, home to diverse flora. Just a few kilometres away is Nabalu Market, where you can find all kinds of local greens, delicacies and handicrafts. The beautiful Kundasang town is also just kilometres ahead, where you can explore the historical War Memorial Park. From Kundasang, you can drive up to the 199-hectares Desa Cattle Farm, home to Sabah’s fresh dairy produce.
